Affordable housing is a critical issue for the more than 30,000 ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families living in Indian River County – many of whom are single women with children. Learn from the organizations in our county working to make this a more affordable place to live. Speakers include Trevor Loomis, Habitat for Humanity; Susan Adams, County Commissioner; and Rayme Nuckles, Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council; and Wendy McDaniel, crisis stabilization manager for United Against Poverty in Indian River County.
